Denver Look’s Ahead After Opening Loss To Oakland

The Denver Broncos need to put some pieces together after a 23-20 loss to Oakland on Monday night. The offense needs some work, namely with the running game.

Plus a little bit better play from Quarterback Kyle Orton and a few less drops from the receivers. The Broncos host Cincinnati this Sunday.

In Junior College Volleyball from Tuesday night, Casper College lost to Region-9 rival Western Nebraska in three straight, 25-18, 25-14 and 25-11. Western Nebraska (10-0) is currently ranked number one in the nation and is the defending national champions. The T-Birds drop to 3-8 and will host Dawson College at Erickson Gym on Thursday evening.

The Colorado Rockies lost a tough one last night, 2-1 at Milwaukee, as Ryan Braun homered in the bottom of the 11th-inning to win it for the Brewers. Former Casper player Wileeen Rosario with an RBI in the game. The Rockies and Brewers continue on with that series tonight.

The Prep Game Of The Week has on Friday night, the Natrona Mustangs (3-0) at the Rock Spring Tigers (1-2). Pregame show at 6:45 with the kickoff at 7:00pm on AM 1400 ESPN. Meanwhile the Kelly Walsh Trojans (0-3) will host the Gillette Camels (3-0) at Harry Gildien Stadium at 7:00pm.
