Eat, Drink, And Be Caring To Benefit United Way Of Natrona County
You can help fund local agencies just by frequenting a favorite establishment on "Eat, Drink, And Be Caring" Day Thursday, March 8th. 21 Casper area establishments will be donating a portion of their proceeds from that day to the United Way Of Natrona County. Executive Director Mike Burnett said the agency is a local charity that meets the needs of our community.
"It focuses on human services, basic needs, health and wellness for our seniors and special needs population, and youth development and early education programs," said Burnett, who points out they partner with a number of agencies to meet these needs, funding the services and programs they are providing.
"We don't need to be going out and doing the services ourselves when we've got great organizations that are doing that," said Burnett, "so it makes a lot more sense and value to the community when we can provide funding to these agencies to have them continue to deliver the services the community needs so commonly in everyday life."
The establishments will donate ten percent of their proceeds from the day to United Way Of Natrona County. They are:
