The top two teams in 4A girls basketball stumbled last week. Top ranked Sheridan lost to third ranked Gillette 74-59 and second ranked Laramie lost to unranked Cheyenne East 52-49.

The other three top ranked teams came with wins, Douglas in 3A, Lovell in 2A and Little Snake River in 1A. The 2A and 1A teams have completed their regular seasons and head into regionals this week. The 4A and 3A teams wrap up their regular season this week. Here's a look at how the top teams fared last week.

4A:

#1 Sheridan (18-2) lost home vs. #3 Gillette, 74-59.

#2 Laramie (16-5) won home vs. #5 Central, 59-52, lost at East, 52-49.

#3 Gillette (16-4) won at #1 Sheridan, 74-59.

#4 Natrona (13-7) won home vs. Rock Springs, 67-44, won home vs. Green River, 66-26.

#5 Central (18-5) lost at #2 Laramie, 59-52, won home vs. Kelly Walsh, 54-29.

3A:

#1 Douglas (21-2) won home vs. #4 Wheatland, 46-40, won home vs. Glenrock, 57-22.

#2 Mountain View (20-2) won at Jackson, 50-31, won home vs. Pinedale, 55-26.

#3 Cody (17-5) won home vs. Worland, 52-33.

#4 Wheatland (16-6) lost at #1 Douglas, 46-40.

#5 Buffalo (15-6) won at Newcastle, 63-39, lost home vs. Torrington, 63-55.
