Wyoming H.S. Boys Top Five Recap

The top ranked boys basketball teams in three of the four classes picked up wins last week. In 3A, top ranked Buffalo lost to seond ranked Torrington 55-52. Big Horn in 2A and Little Snake River in 1A remain unbeaten with 18-0 records. And Gillette picked up wins over the Cheyenne schools, Central and East last week.

Class 4A:

#1 Gillette (15-2) won at Central, 62-41, won at East, 62-45.

#2 Rock Springs (16-2) won home vs. Star Valley, 76-62, won home vs. #3 Evanston, 64-53.

#3 Evanston (14-4) won home vs. Green River, 51-35, lost at #2 Rock Springs, 64-53.

#4 Sheridan (13-4) won at East, 46-42, won at Central, 69-36.

#5 Natrona (11-5) won home vs. Laramie, 43-32, won home vs. Riverton, 53-39.

Class 3A:

#1 Buffalo (15-2) won home vs. #3 Wheatland, 59-35, lost home vs. #2 Torrington, 55-52.

#2 Torrington (13-4) won at #5 Douglas, 60-45, won at #1 Buffalo, 55-52.

#3 Wheatland (14-4) lost at #1 Buffalo, 59-35, won home vs. Rawlins, 61-51.

#4 Rawlins (11-5) won home vs. South, 67-37, lost at #3 Wheatland, 61-51.

#5 Douglas (9-10) lost home vs. #2 Torrington, 60-45, won at South, 75-35.
