Casper drag racer Kris Hool competed in a couple of races in Texas last week which included a first place finish in a regional event for his top alcohol funny car. That #1 finish was in Dallas at a Lucas Oil Regional event where Hool ran the quarter mile at 256.21 MPH, beating the current point leader Jonnie Lindberg. Houston played host to a Lucas Oil Series national event with Hool losing in the semi-finals with a red light violation of .005 of a second. His run in that semi-final round exceeded 260 MPH. as of right now, Hool is #1 in the regional standings and #3 in the NHRA National Points Series.
