Gillette Beats Natrona to Advance to 4A Girls Championship

Defending 4A Girls Champion Gillette advanced to the title game with a 60-42 win over Natrona on Friday night at the Casper Events Center.
Gillette's swarming defense forced NC into 27 turnovers which the Camels converted into valuable points.
Kalina Smith was terrific for Gillette with 27 points on 8-19 shooting from the field.
The Camels took 63 shots from the field and made 22.
Natrona shot just 23% from the field and were led by Kristy Dick with 11 points and 16 rebounds.
Gillette is looking for their 3rd state title in a row and are 24-2 on the year.
NC falls to 17-7 on the year and will play for 3rd place on Saturday.
