Natrona Takes 3rd at State Volleyball

The Natrona County Fillies captured 3rd place at the State High School Volleyball tournament on Saturday with a 3-0 win over Sheridan 25, 22, 25-16 and 25-21. The Fillies finished the season 27-12 and also beat cross town rival Kelly Walsh in 3 straight to advance to the 3rd place game. It was the 5th meeting between the 2 Casper schools this season. Kelly Walsh after a quarterfinal round loss to Laramie, came back to beat Gillette 3-2 after trailing 2 games to none. The Lady Trojans finished the season with a record of 27-13
