The National League Championship Series will have a 7th and deciding game tonight as San Francisco beat St. Louis 6-1 Sunday night. For the Giants, Marco Scuturo scored twice and Pablo Sandoval had 2 hits and an RBI. San Francisco is 5-0 in elimination games so far in this playoff season. The winner tonight will meet Detroit in the World Series which will start on Wednesday in either San Francisco or St. Louis.

The Wyoming Cowboys lost at Fresno State Saturday night 42-14. With the loss the Pokes drop to 1-6 overall and 0-3 in the Mountain West Conference. The Cowboys were outplayed at every position and trailed 35-0 at halftime. Fresno State returned a punt for a touchdown and their defensive line dominated the Cowboys. Pokes quarterback Brett Smith who alternated with Jason Thompson threw for 158 yards. The Bulldogs had 396 yards of total offense for the game. Fresno improved to 5-3 overall and 3-1 in league play. The Cowboys will be at home on Saturday in Laramie to meet 24th ranked Boise State.

Auto Racing on the NASCAR Circuit, as Matt Kenseth won the Chase for the Cup race in Kansas. That was Kenseth's 2nd Chase win and trails Sprint Cup leader Brad Keslowski by 55 points. Jimmie Johnson who finished one back of Keslowski in 9th on Sunday is in second place in the Chase points 7 points behind Keslowski.

Wyoming high school football moves into the post season starting this Friday night. Both Casper schools will be in action. Kelly Walsh will travel to Sheridan at 7:00pm. You can listen to that game on AM 1400 ESPN with the pregame show at 6:45. The Trojans (4-5) are the 6th seed and the Broncs (7-2) are the 3rd seed. Top ranked Natrona will host Rock Springs at Mustang Stadium. The Mustangs are 9-0 and the 8th seeded  Tigers are 2-7 on the regular season.
