NC’s Taubert Signs with K-State

Natrona County high school athlete Lauren Talbert has signed a letter of intent with Kansas State for track and field. She missed the entire 2015 outdoor track season due to an ankle injury but won 2 state championships in the high jump and the 300 meter hurdles in her freshman and sophomore years. Taubert is also a 2 time all state selection in volleyball and helped the Fillies to a 3rd place finish at this years state tournament. She plans on competing in the heptathlon in college, an event she has competed in at the AAU level.
