The Casper College men and women's basketball teams play tonight in their respective Region-IX basketball tournaments. The T-Bird men with a win over Western Nebraska Saturday night 81-69 advance to tonight's quarterfinal game. The T-Birds who are hosting the tournament will play Northwest College of Powell at 8:00pm. In the win Saturday, Casper was led in scoring by Remi Debo with 24 points and 15 from Dominque Lee. Northwest beat Lamar Sunday night 90-83. Tonight's game on AM 1400 ESPN with Marcus Hayden and Chris Crossen.

The Lady T-Birds will play their first game tonight in the Region-IX tournament against Lamar, Colorado at 7:00pm. The Birds are 23-7 and Lamar is 18-12. The T-Birds are the 4th seed and with a win will probably see top seed and host Western Nebraska tomorrow.

The state 1A and 2A basketball tournaments wrapped up over the weekend. The Lovell boys won the 2A beating Lusk. The Snake River boys 3 peated as champions in 1A beating Ten Sleep. The Tongue River girls capped an undefeated season with a win over Thermopolis in the 2A game and Cokeville won the 1A title with a win over Lingle.

The Kelly Walsh boys and the Natrona girls captured the 4A West Region titles on Saturday in Green River. Kelly Walsh will play Cheyenne Central at noon Thursday in the opening round of the state tournament at Casper College. Natrona will play Laramie at 6:00pm also at Erickson Gym. All Kelly Walsh and Natrona games will be on AM 1400 ESPN.
