The Summer Olympic Games wrapped up in London last night. The United States won the medal count with 104 overall and 46 gold of which 29 were won by the U.S. women. China was in second in the medal count with 87.

The U.S. Men's Basketball team defended their gold medal with a 107-100 win over Spain. Kevin Durant of the U.S. led everybody with 30 points. LeBron James had 19. Spain was led by Pau Gasol with 24.

In Golf, Rory Mcllroy won the PGA Championship from the Ocean Course in South Carolina. Mcllroy lapped the field enroute to his second major title. He shot a final round 6 under 66 and finished at 13 under par to win by eight strokes. Mcllroy also is the youngest to win two majors. The first was the U.S. Open last year.

The Colorado Rockies lost to San Francisco Sunday afternoon 9-6 as Hunter Pence hit a three run homer for the Giants in the eighth inning. The Giants scored five runs in the eighth inning. The Rockies drop to 41-71 and will host the Milwaukee Brewers tonight at Coors Field.

Cheyenne and Wheatland saw their baseball seasons come to an end in regional play. Cheyenne Post 6 lost both their games in the Class AA tournament in Billings. Cheyenne lost to Belleview, Washington and the Billings Scarlets. Wheatland went 1-2 in the Class A tournament in Burley, Idaho. They were eliminated by Poulson, Montana 11-5.

In Auto Racing on the NASCAR circuit, Marcos Ambrose pass Brad Keselowski on the final lap to win at Watkins Glen, New York. That's the second straight win for Ambrose at Watkins Glen. Jimmy Johnson took third followed by Clint Bowyer.
